Magic Bullet Blender
The Magic Bullet blender is a small blender made by Homeland Housewares. It is marketed on television though infomercials and also sold in retail stores. Another limited version called the Magic Bullet Single Shot+ is also sold in retail stores.
Magic Bullet As A Product
The Magic Bullet is a compact blender designed to save space in the kitchen. It is meant to replace other more bulky applicances like blenders, food processors and juicers. The Magic Bullet system is based upon an electric blender base with removable attachements. The product comes with the following attachments...
- Screw on blade attachments used for chopping food and ice.
- Two mixing cups.
- Two handled cups called Party Mugs which can be used to blend individual drinks.
- Lids for the cups which allow food to be stored.
- An instruction manual containing Magic Bullet recipes.
Other attachements can be purchased or are sometimes included in infomercials...
- Perforated lids for the cups allowing sprinkling of the contents such as ground cheese.
- Two other screw on blade attachements that allow chopping and whipping.
- A full size blender pitcher.
- A juice extractor attachment.
Magic Bullet Usage
The Magic Bullet blender is used by attaching a blade to the cup and fitting it onto the base. The base unit contains the motor which drives the blade attachment. The Magic Bullet is operated by applying pressure to the top of the device which spins the blade. It is also possible to turn the cup on the base to lock it onto the base which leaves the device running without applying pressure to the top.
History of the Magic Bullet
The original design of the Magic Bullet appliance and all it's attachments are registered in the United States Patent Office to Lenny Sands.
The Magic Bullet name comes from the shape of the blending cups onto which the blade attachments are screwed.
The Magic Bullet and related products are marketed by Homeland Housewares and they have made several different versions of the Magic Bullet called the Bullet2Go and the Bullet Express. They have also produced a Fat Burning supplement for use with the Magic Bullet.
